Programs, Services, and Collaborations
The Center for Advancement of Higher Education (CAHE) at Hokuriku University is an extra-faculty organization established in the FY2021. CAHE are generally called Centers for Teaching and Learning (CTLs), staffed by educational developers—professionals specializing in educational support and learning development. CTLs support not only course improvement but also curriculum development, learning support, and the creation of learning environments. To maximize the value of teaching and learning within the university through these activities, promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion has become particularly important in recent years. CAHE aims to be the nexus for student success and faculty-staff collaboration, starting from the premise that all faculty, staff, and students equally stand at the center of their own learning. Through the realization of learner-centered teaching and learning, we strive to make our society better together.
